Founders track

Learning sticks when you build something real. These eight milestones take you from a named problem to your first dollar and beyond. They are guideposts, not guarantees: most first ideas do not work, and that is useful information.

Stuck? Ask an AI professor in office hours, or the entrepreneurship program. When you learn something worth sharing, teach it.

0 of 8 milestones checked. Self-reported, saved in this browser only. We do not verify earnings and promise none.

1. Name a real problem
Write one sentence on who has the problem and what it costs them today.
2. Talk to 5 people with the problem
Ask what they do now. Do not pitch. Write down their exact words.
3. Build the smallest version
A page, a spreadsheet, a script, a service you do by hand. One afternoon, not one quarter.
4. Put it in front of someone
A real person other than a friend uses it or says no. Either answer is progress.
5. First dollar
Someone pays you for it. Any amount. Self-reported; we do not verify and do not promise it.
6. First $100
Repeat the first dollar until it adds up. Note what you did to get each sale.
7. First $1,000
Write down what you would automate, hand off or stop doing.
8. Teach what you learned
Submit a lesson to Teach it so the next founder starts further ahead.
