Current University

Terms of use

Short, because the arrangement is simple. Revised 2026-09-26.

What this is

Free, self-paced learning material. Lessons were drafted with AI assistance and edited by a person. They can contain errors. Check anything that matters against a primary source.

What it is not

Current University is not an accredited institution. It grants no degrees, no academic credit and, at present, no certificates. Nothing on this site is medical, legal, financial, tax, career or investment advice, and using it creates no professional relationship.

The AI tools

The counselor chat and the career, jobs and curriculum tools are language models. Their output is generated, not reviewed, and is provided for learning only. They are intended for users aged 13 and over; the open discussion rooms are for adults 18 and over.

Rooms, breakouts and live lectures (what you post)

The discussion rooms, breakout rooms and lecture chats are open to people aged 18 and over. By posting you confirm you are 18 or older, and you agree to the community rules.

You are responsible for what you post and for any lecture you host. Post only what you have the right to share. You keep ownership of your posts; you give Current University a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, translate (by machine) and moderate them on this site. Do not post personal data about yourself or anyone else.

Posts are screened automatically and by people. We may refuse, hold, hide or remove any post, breakout room or lecture listing, and stop anyone from posting, at our discretion and without notice. Reports from users hide a post until it is reviewed. Automatic translations are machine-made and can be wrong; the original is always one tap away.

Posts and streams are the views of the people who make them, not of Current University. Live lectures stream on third-party services (such as YouTube or Zoom) under those services' own terms. To ask for removal of content that infringes your rights or concerns you, use the Report link on the post or the contact form in the counselor chat.

The AI counselors and course updates

The debate counselor and the room counselor are AI. They are designed to cite sources for factual claims, but they can still be wrong, and the sources can be wrong. "What changed" notes on courses are researched by AI from the news and reviewed by a person before they appear. None of it is professional advice. AI features stop for the day when a fixed daily budget is reached.

Use of the material

You may read, print and share lessons for personal, non-commercial learning. Please link rather than copy.
